About & FAQ
About Sats Stacker
Sats Stacker is an informational, non-custodial alert-assisted intelligence tool. It does not hold custody, execute trades, or manage a cash reserve fund. You maintain your own static weekly DCA on your preferred platform and receive data-driven alerts recommending when to deploy additional out-of-pocket capital — up to capped multipliers — during high-conviction market discounts.
Free for everyone
Sats Stacker is free to use for everyone. An optional Premium subscription unlocks push notifications and supports both your stacking journey and the creator to keep improving the app's algorithm and features.
Alert-assisted
Data-driven signals highlight high-conviction discounts — you decide whether to act on each one.
Your own budget
Any extra capital comes straight from your discretionary funds. No deposits, no reserve accounts.
The primary goal
Stack more sats, at a lower average cost
Sats Stacker is designed to help you accumulate as many satoshis as possible while gradually lowering the average cost you pay for them. The app does this by keeping your regular DCA approach at the centre, while highlighting times when additional purchases may allow you to acquire more sats for each dollar invested.
Portfolio growth is a potential by-product of achieving that goal — but it is not the primary target. The main focus is accumulating more sats and improving your average cost per sat over time.
Of course, Bitcoin’s price can go up or down, and past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Sats Stacker is intended to support a disciplined, informed approach — not to predict the market or guarantee returns.
Frequently asked questions
Budgeting guidance
What if I have a fixed weekly budget and want to fund every alert without spending extra overall?
Across our 5-year backtest, following every confirmed and exceptional alert added roughly 69% in supplemental purchases on top of the baseline schedule. If you want to keep your total 5-year spend identical to a fixed budget while still taking full advantage of every alert, use a simple split.
The 60/40 rule of thumb
~60%
Allocate to your static weekly DCA.
~40%
Keep in your bank account for alert opportunities.
Example
If your total planned budget is $100/week:
- →Set your weekly recurring DCA to $60.
- →Keep the remaining $40/week in your savings or checking account.
- →When Sats Stacker signals a high-conviction discount, draw from those unspent dollars to fund the boost.
By the end of a full market cycle, your total out-of-pocket spend remains approximately the same as if you had bought $100 every single week — but a significant portion of your dollars was redirected straight into major market bottoms, accumulating more sats at a lower average price.
